Killer Croc- pencils

This is my favorite character piece I've done in a while. It's my take on Wyland Jones a.k.a "Killer Croc" from the Batman's rogues gallery.
Here's my take:
Wyland Jones lived with his single mother in the Port Adams suburbs of Gotham City. Wyland was 14 years old when a small up and coming gang; the V.B.M (Violent, B%#tards with Money) started recruiting from Port Adams Highschool. Wyland's mother worked the day and often worked over into the night shift at the Stop&Shop gas station to support Wyland, until one night she was robbed and fatally shot. As Wyland stayed with his aunt, he learned from rumors at his highschool that a kid was bragging about killing Wyland's mother and becoming an honarary member of the V.B.M. As a result Wyland slowly and meticulousely stalked the kid, until one day he ambushed his mother's killer and ripped his jugular vein out with his teeth. Eventually Wyland was found and charged as an adult in the homicide where he was sent at the age of 15 to Blackgate Prison. There Wyland learned how to survive, he filed his teeth down to daggers, began working out relentlessely, soon earned the nickname of "Little Croc". Spurred on by his new nickname Wyland covered his body in tattoos of scales, crocodile skulls, crocodile armor and even had his eyes tattoo'd black. At the age of 25 Wyland Jones became a legend at Blackgate, responsible for killing 6 men in just under 10 years, earning him the title of "Killer Croc". Wyland however had no plans of dying in prison, so Wyland gained knowledge of a sewer system that ran out of Blackgate and eventually used it to escape into Gotham Bay. Now out of prison, with a resentment of guns and gangs and feeling betrayed by the justice system Wyland Jones works as a contract killer for jobs he deems justifiable and those solicitations he doesn't agree with often end up lying in the gutter.

I see this as a better and less sci-fi version of the character, it also gives Wyland's character more importance while not changing who he is. Wyland Jones is still the "Killer Croc", he still uses the sewers, he still kills people, but he's more of a reflection of Bruce. Bruce sees what he could of become had he killed Joe Chill, understands Wyland's loss and why he would choose to become something that others feared. Wyland can sense Batman has to be "eaten up too" and it leads to great battles.

*Note* I wanted to have Killer Croc's knuckles tattoo'd DEATH on his left hand and ROLL on his right hand It's a killing method used by alligators and crocodiles and it would signify his weapon hand and his dice rolling hand. So if I ever draw Croc without boxer's tape around his hands be sure to look for it.
